Sir Steven I'm impressed that you can even attempt to interpret this garbled statement by MS

You're very welcome. Learning new languages at your advanced age is impressive indeed. You still have a few terms You're unclear of but I hold hope. Evolving language can be hard to keep up with. Good thing I'm your solo sherpa. Love you Daddy You found parts of me I didn’t know existed and in you I found a love I no longer believed was real.

Steven, Let me help you out with your abacus calculations. Perhaps you should review: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/americas-richest-400-families-pay-a-lower-tax-rate-than-the-middle-class/ Herein lies the problem with how we collect taxes in this country. The 400 richest U.S. families now pay a lower overall tax rate than the middle-class, the first time that's happened in 100 years, according to economists Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman. Factoring in federal, state and local taxes, those ultra-wealthy households pay a total rate of about 23% — that compares with just over 24% for the bottom half of households. The U.S. now "looks like the tax system of a plutocracy," Saez and Zucman say. Add to that the tax revenue losses that accrued from the 2017 tRUMP tax cuts given to corporations, reducing their rate from 34% to 21%. Corporations that made billions paid no taxes. So, my friend, it is simply a matter of basic fairness. Isn't that something all real Americans deserve and want to create that more perfect union? Redoing the tax structure and keeping it in line with this concept of basic fairness is what will generate the revenue to help pay for this 3.5 trillion. Remember, this isn't 3.5 trillion in one year but over 10 years. Unlike the failure of "trickle-down economics, this plan will create jobs and in turn increase revenue. I don't think you need your abacus to figure out the extra revenue that would come from raising the corporate tax to about 26 or 27%. That would still be below global tax rates for corporations.

What a loser. You must live a boring life. How does it feel to have Trump living rent free in your head?

Steven, You know there is more to the story than this. For your high earners, capital gains and dividends are taxed at a maximum income tax rate of 20 percent, far below the 37-percent top rate on wages and salaries. This is something that needs to be addressed. You said," 1,000,000.00 earner paying 23% = 230,000.00 50,000.00 earner paying 24% = 12,000.00" Thank you. One, why is that 23% and not closer to the 37% top range. This is another thing that needs to be addressed. Perhaps a little more scrutiny is needed on what should qualify as a legitimate deduction. Even without that, you think it is fair that even by your figures it is 1% less. Then there is the consideration of that pesky wealth tax. But we all know it is not the size of your pay but what you net. My argument is that a family making even a 100k or less can ill afford to pay the same percentage or more percentage as your high earner. The difference in the quality of life is the striking difference. I think we can both agree that the high earner with his 770,000 net income is hardly as restricted in life by his tax burden compared to the 38000 net left for the low-end earner. Especially if that low earner has a wife and a couple of kids. But as usual, you and I will never see the world through the same lens. Let me conclude by saying I have no association with your boogeyman, the esteemed panel. Also, the twice impeached, disgraced ex-president is so far in my rearview mirror. However, if I spot that orange mess on my side mirror, I will need to give him the further scrutiny he deserves. Oh yeah, I'm still riding with Biden.
