eWhoring is the term used by offenders to refer to a social engineering technique where they imitate partners in virtual sexual encounters. Is that like creating fake profiles for people to interact with for money.

It makes me laugh when the cam scammers pretend to be in the UK on a winter's morning. It is pitch black here, but there is sunlight streaming through their windows. Pathetic!

I prefer DuckDuckGo as well. The info for e-whoring was fairly straightforward and not surprising... People been making money via any sort of scam since the invention of need. I remember some pretty good ones from when I was stationed overseas (a couple of times) - As youngsters we are invulnerable 'til we're not - but some of us learned to take some things in stride and with "a grain of salt". Life as we live it.
