As a female golfer...

pac is perceived as a "novelty item" when she shows up at the course alone. Since the split with my ex over three years ago, the move from Northern Az to Southern Az, and spending almost two months in Wisconsin over the summer, trying to find golf partners is beyond challenging. And just extremally hard as a female. Male golfers think you will slow them down, or just can't play.

A article on Golf Digest described it as "objectification" of female golfers. Where they are judged by their appearances instead of talent. Not sure about the woman treated as objects? But they are treated worlds apart from their male counterparts.

While constantly judged every time pac shows up at the course alone. At least she is not dealing with the barrage of social media comments about it.

These kinds of incidents aren't going away anytime soon. They are prevalent in all woman's sports. Think tennis, gymnastics, softball, and fucking beach volleyball. Where the outfits can be perceived as sexually suggestive due to tightness, improper fit, or lack of material.

It is the way of our world today and probably won't change anytime soon.

Every time pac plays golf. Her outfit is thought about. Not only for comfort. But how it will be perceived by others.

How about this... Cut a solo female some slack when you see her at the golf course. Because if she had "balls", they would be of the brass kind. For her strength when she shows up alone!

Love the shirt. If I golfed, I would get on the greens with a female. And depending on the other aspect, may get on the greens after dark. Just like in my University days living next to the 9th hole.

Thanks DD!

Sounds like that 9th hole was quite a bit of fun in your younger days...
But... golfing in your area of Wisconsin would be a short lived season anyway..

Thanks for sharing..

Pac,

Do you promise to take that shirt off when you're lying 5 in the rough and your next shot lands in the water?

Just saying...

pac369 replies on 10/21/2021 9:17 am:
No way gry!
And rarely do I go in the water..

My mind makes me hit as far away from the water as possible.. It's quite funny actually..

Do they have a t-shirt that says ..... 19th Hole?

Might be good for gathering a partner or two.....

pac369 replies on 10/21/2021 10:14 am:
I am sure they do Plz...

But I don't wear tee-shirts golfing, ever...
I prefer golf clothes as they are designed for the heat and look good all day into the night if need be..

That is sad you have to put up with that shit. When I was younger, I had a fling with a woman in SF who was about 10 years older than me. She asked if I could come play tennis with her. She belonged to a club, and so I said sure. I was not a pro tennis player by any stretch but I was in excellent shape. Anyway she kicked my ass, and I returned the favor in bed later

Your brass balls comment remined me of that Johnny Carson episode with I think it was Arnold Palmers wife who said for good luck she kissed his balls before each tournament. Johnny's replied "That must make his putter flutter."

It is sad and frustrating Iso... And sometimes keeps me away from the course. But the urge and desire is to strong.. So back I go for more abuse...

Loved the Johnny Carson story! Thanks so much for sharing it...

Iso,

That was a long time ago but I recall Johnny replied, "That must make his putter stand on end."

Memory is an amazing ability. Just putting it out there, it was one of his classic remarks.
Your rendition works as well.

A friend told me a story about he and his buddy getting paired with two woman at a really high end course. They were not happy and thought they would be waiting for them the entire game. As it turned out, they were two LPGA players and were doing a practise round before a tour event. Needless to say they both destroyed the two male golfers. Out drove them every hole by a wide margin. The guys said they had never player with any better players or better companions. Moral of the story....beware what talent hides beneath those well chosen female golf outfits.

Thanks for sharing a wonderful positive female golf story...

Nothing like being served a dish of humble pie..
I suspect they looked at female golfers in a new light after that experience..

pac369. May I just say I enjoyed reading your blog today it took me back to when I played golf and rarely saw a woman on the links but when we did they were as good as the men players.
Also it's good to see a blog that is not a man ranting about his political beliefs and talking to himself.
Regards.

pac369 replies on 10/21/2021 10:30 am:
Glad the blog took you back to a good time darkness..

Because it's hard keeping up with slave auctions, subs with pussies spread wide open, massive hairy pussies, silly games, and such...

So I really appreciate those who enjoy all my blogs, not just the sex ones...

Thanks again..

I'm sorry to hear you have to put up with this crap pac.

I don't know much about golf, but isn't the hadicap system supposed to
show who is at the right level to play with someone else? Or have I misunderstood
how things work?

Anyway, I hope you find suitable people to play around with, oops sorry,
play a round with.

pac369 replies on 10/21/2021 6:48 pm:
The handicap system does help Dave.
As it’s used in tournaments. Sometimes as a equalizer to…

But just showing up at the course… No one knows or asks about your handicap. Hope that clarifies it a bit for you…

Thanks for the empathy though.. It is appreciated..

Having played in several work and course leagues in the past, you never knew who you might be paired with.

It was always enjoyable no matter the gender.

Something that I've missed since not playing.

Have you thought of joining a league?

pac369 replies on 10/21/2021 8:43 pm:
I was playing in one in Abq before I left the state...
It was ok... But it was so time consuming..

I might think about it again if I stay in this area..
Thanks for your comments..

Im not sure why men would view a pretty single woman/ golfer as a hindrance? I mean this isnt the pga and they arent tom watson.

If anything you'd think a woman in any environment would warmly welcomed in any venue.

Sure beats being around 300lbs dudes in tommy Bahamas shirts.

The objectification of women in sports? I think women bring this upon themselves. Your participation in an activity that more men watch than women.
It would be like me joining a yoga class as a male..
I'd be the odd duck...and more than likely be objectified for my body and my flexibility..lol😉
But then again im used to being dog down..

Plus you have plenty of female athletes that dont win but make ,millions based on their looks,race...
Like lolo jones or michelle wie.

And in terms of outfits and objectification? Well womens sports draw in less attendence, less viewers which equates to less events and paychecks.
Nobody is forcing women to wear bikinis to play volleyball.. but then again none of the players are bitching about the nice fat checks and sponsors they get from playing a niche sport on espn ocho.

pac369 replies on 10/22/2021 6:17 am:
I agree likes..
It sorta pisses me off I have to go through this shit every time I play golf.. I suppose my pride gets the best of me to. Because I am not begging anyone to play golf with me..

I know exactly what you mean about woman's outfits in sports. Personally, I don't want to see it, and won't watch the volleyball because of it, and bitch about inappropriate tennis outfits. Golf has standards about clothes. And Michele Wie gets shit because she "bends at the waist" to putt.. Really?? WTF!
