Sunday Wildcard Games.... What a way t o start the playoffs... Any game that comes down t o the last play of the game, where you get the TD, or go home is alright in pac's mind... Congrats are deserved for Cincy waiting thirty-one years for this victory... And Las Vegas had a great season and has nothing t o be ashamed about... Cincy 26-19 WTF NE?? Throwing that interception so early in the game just doomed you! Buffalo put a dismantling on you. Belichick for once had no answers... Buffalo is looking very dangerous in these playoffs... Buffalo 47-17 Sunday's games... Philadelphia @ Tampa Bay Regardless of TB missing key pieces to their offense and defense. This is a seasoned experienced team playing a team that's not. Hurts has had success running the ball all year. The possibility of a wet, sloppy field, before the game just plays into Philly's plan of running the ball. Just seems like Philly will make more mistakes than TB will. And it won't matter that they are the number one rushing defense. Amazing as it seems Tom Brady finished the season number one in passing yards. The expectation was that Fournette was back. He's not. Brady will pass the ball t o whoever is open. Don't be surprised who catches or runs the ball. Still think Brady gets it done in this match-up. Where his playoff experience just shines... SF @ Dallas The only teams out of the six who did not play each other in the regular season. They are polar opposites. SF wants slow methodical drives running the ball. While Dallas plays fast and loose. Garoppolo has sported a 9-3 record as a road underdog against the spread. If SF falls behind, like most think they will. What happens? Will D. Samuel become the focus? Or is it time t o take advantage of the Kittle connection which has been pretty quiet lately. The Cowboys are red hot coming into this match-up. Prescott has played well down the stretch. Getting the ball to Lamb and Cooper 40% of the time. SF will focus on shutting down the run game. pac would not be surprised if SF squeaked out a win here. But... Dallas is highly motivated at home in front of their die hard fans... Pittsburgh @ Kansas City This same game was played a month ago. With KC winning 36-10. Temperatures are expected t o be in the high 20's. But should not be a factor for either of these teams. Let's get real... Is Pittsburgh really supposed t o be here? ( Sorry drmgirl) Big Ben's stats in the last game were 23-35 for 157 yards. Tossing one TD and one interception. The run game could keep Pittsburgh close, maybe. As Harris rushed for 110 yards. pac can't see any scenario where Pittsburg wins this game. KC didn't even have Kelce and Hill was limited in the earlier game with Pittsburgh. Mahomes throws t o them 50% of the time. Yikes! How would Pittsburgh stop that? The KC backfield is tumultuous at best. Because of that maybe Pittsburgh can keep the game somewhat close? Enjoy the full day of playoff football. And when is the upset coming that we all expect?? ~ Physical strength is measured by what we carry. Inner strength is measured by what we can bear. ~ |

I watched both games yesterday, hate to admit it but I really enjoyed the Bills dismantling of NE... I'm looking forward to the 'boys and 49ers. I have a feeling its going to either be super close or one or the other will just blow up like the Bills did

But for that missed call, the Las Vegas - Cincy game might have turned out differently. As it stands now, the officials working the contest will not be working any further post season games.

Pac...as someone that was born and raised a steeler fan, lived in pittsburgh for 10 yrs..and now lived in kc for 20.. The steelers are going to ball out today. By this i mean aggressively run the ball with harris and play playground ball. Meaning the chiefs have always had problems against the run and have gone cheap on their corners. Id bring out all the gadgets plays. In kc the weather is mild/ no wind/ no snow about 27 degrees. The field will be immaculate.. So it favors both the pass and the quick cut runs. The chiefs under reid and mcholmes are slow starters. And with pittsburgh running the ball ALOT.. It will be a low scoring game for the most part. If i was mcholmes id try for the instant strike td and get the steelers out of their run first offense. Force ben to throw the ball to catch up. The strength of the steelers is its defense. But it doesnt match up to the talent on the chiefs. Like you said the steelers backdoored their way in and dont belong. They are and most likely will always be that first round 20th pick team. Never getting that superstar player unless he falls down the draft due to drugs, trouble w the law, injury or poor work ethic.. Only to start for them for 4 or 5 yrs and then be cut like bud Dupree. The steelers then make hay in the later rounds..if not then they would be shitty like cleveland. Score...chiefs 28..steelers 13 ( 1 touchdown,2 field goals)

Pac, Nice analysis, I agree Brady will introduce us to some new players. Perhaps Perriman. I like TB-7. SF is the most dangerous team coming into the wild card weekend. They are running on all cylinders and Dallas might look like they're all together but who did they beat up the last 3 weeks? Wash and Philly resting all starters. In between, they lost at home to Arizona. Give me SF +3 Well, Pitt just doesn't match up well but they will be coming in loose with nothing to lose. However, I see their loss and KC will cover 13. Good luck.
