My reasons for seeking a female companion is because there are more things that can be done with female friends than men, such as flirting. Thus, if either a male or female can both equally attract my interest because of their personalities, I'd prefer to be with the female. (...and to be honest, it's just more visually pleasing to look at a female when talking about Lovecraft. *smiles!*)
